Aldemar Resorts receives once again the Blue Flag eco-label, for maintaining and protecting the sea and the marine ecosystem. The beach of Pyrgos Municipality (Aldemar Royal Olympian & Aldemar Olympian Village) and the one in Hersonissos Municipality (Aldemar Royal Mare, Aldemar Knossos Royal, Aldemar Knossos Villas, and Aldemar Cretan Village) are awarded with Blue Flags for 2020, fact which makes us very proud to offer our guests a pure experience next to the source of life, water.
The Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label, awarded to beaches, marinas, and sustainable boating tourism operators by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (EEPF).
In 2020, Greek beaches rank second in the world with most “Blue Flags”. Specifically, there are 497 award-winning beaches in Greece.
